I conducted my semiannual frog and reptile workshop in St. Louis this past weekend, and everyone got amazing shots as usual. I've posted a few of my own images so you can see what amazing opportunities there are. We have about 50
species of fascinating creatures, from dozens of exotic and colorful frogs (that are surprisingly small) to chameleons, snakes, geckos, and an alligator that just doesn't seem to grow large (we think it's a dwarf). It's a macro workshop, and I discuss how to use flash effectively when photographing these remarkable subjects. I also explain some Photoshop techniques in fixing any kinds of problems that come up (like a ring flash reflection in the eye). If you are interested in participating in the next one -- Feb. 27, 28, 2010 -- drop me a note (photos@jimzuckerman.com). You'll take the most exciting macro pictures you've ever taken.
